Aviation electronics repair
Repair and diagnostics of electronic modules for aviation ground support equipment used in aircraft servicing: test benches, power supplies and ground service electronics.
What we repair
Ground support equipment (GSE) boards
Test bench power supply units
Component-level LRU modules for ground services
Ground test bench electronics
Aviation equipment diagnostics boards
Measurement modules built on outdated components
Repair examples
Typical cases from our practice, without naming a specific customer.
Test bench board failure
Problem: A ground test bench board stopped giving stable readings while testing modules - the original part was long discontinued, and the supplier offered only a full bench replacement.
Solution: BoardMaster diagnostics pinpointed the damaged component, and the board was restored per IPC-7711/7721 to return the bench to service without replacing the whole rig.
Test bench power supply degradation
Problem: A ground test bench power supply started dropping voltage due to degraded electrolytic capacitors, skewing the results of electronic module checks.
Solution: We replaced the degraded components and restored the board at the solder level per IPC-A-610, then applied conformal coating and confirmed stable bench voltage.
Discontinued ground service LRU module
Problem: A ground diagnostic equipment LRU module failed after a voltage spike, and a manufacturer replacement meant months of lead time.
Solution: We located the fault at the component level on BoardMaster, restored the module under ESD controls, and returned it to service without waiting on a factory shipment.
How the repair works
From intake to return to service, in six clear steps.
Equipment intake
We receive the equipment at the workshop or arrange transportation from anywhere in Russia.
BoardMaster diagnostics
We pinpoint the fault at the component level on certified BoardMaster equipment.
Approval
We confirm the cost and timeline and start work once you approve it.
Repair and soldering
We restore the damaged part: soldering, BGA/SMD reballing, component replacement.
Testing
We test the repaired unit under load and confirm it works.
Handover
We hand over the finished equipment or arrange return shipping.
Why repair, not replacement
Repair of discontinued equipment
Ground benches and modules often run on boards no longer manufactured - we restore the existing unit instead of replacing the whole rig.
Component-level diagnostics
BoardMaster pinpoints the fault precisely - we replace the damaged part, not the entire board or unit.
Compliance with industry soldering standards
We repair to IPC-A-610 and IPC-7711/7721 with ESD control and conformal coating where required.
A fraction of a new board's cost
Repairing the specific damaged component costs far less than a full board or bench replacement.
